Texas Comptroller Policy Round Table Discussion, July 2014, Vending Machines within Schools

The Comptroller will host a sales tax round table discussion on the determination of taxable sales for vending machines located within a school that are commonly accessed within and outside of the normal school day. The discussion will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 2:00 pm at our office in Austin.

We invite parties directly affected by this issue or their representatives to register to participate in this discussion. If you would like to join us, please provide the information requested. A phone-in option will be available.

In order to keep attendance at a level that provides for a fruitful discussion, we will limit attendance to a maximum of 25 participants. As much as possible, we will ensure that representatives of both small and large businesses are included. We will notify selected participants by email.
