Purpose of this Survey

Promoting pedestrian safety in California has never been more important, and now communities across the state have an important new tool for conducting public education and outreach. “It’s Up to All of Us” is a creative new public education campaign that seeks to reduce pedestrian injury and death.

This campaign was used successfully by the LaJolla Band of Mission Indians to communicate pedestrian safety messages after a child was struck and killed by an automobile.

We seek your help in developing culturally relevant pedestrian safety messages that may be incorporated into the It's Up to All of Us campaign materials. We believe that the inclusion of tribally culturally relevant messages will encourage more tribes to adopt and modify the campaign materials.

We invite you to complete the following survey questions. Your responses will help to develop tribally culturally relevant messages for inclusion in the campaign materials.

“It’s Up to All of Us” is funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety through a collaborative project with the Pedestrian Safety Program of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
