As part of the City’s Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction program, Pearl Street is scheduled to be reconstructed between Granite Street and Massachusetts Avenue. This is an opportunity to include surface enhancements such as pavement markings for bicycles, sidewalk and pedestrian ramp reconstruction, traffic calming, and greenscaping. After two previous community meetings, the public process for this project continued wtih a Pearl Street Open House which was held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5:30-8:00 PM at the Central Square Library’s Lewis Room. See the project website for additional background materials that were available at the Open House Pearl Street Reconstruction web page for information on community meetings and other updates.

If you could not attend the Open House or did not already give us your feedback for the project, we would appreciate your feedback on the Options developed for the project so far. Your feedback will help the City of Cambridge better understand what users of the street think of each option. If you have any questions please contact Juan Avendano, Project Manager, at (617) 349-4655 or javendano@cambridgema.gov.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinions.
