The City of Madison is working with a neighborhood steering committe to develop a plan for the Emerson East / Eken Park / Yahara Neighborhood (EEEPY). The EEEPY Neighborhood Plan will be an advisory document for policymakers, city agencies, community groups and others managing decisions concerning housing, transportation, community facilities, economic development, land use, and other topics. When completed, this plan will be adopted by the Maidson Common Council and become part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. The general boundary of the study area is Aberg Ave to the north, East Washington Avenue to the east, Sherman Avenue to the west, and the Yahara River to the south.

As part of this planning process, the City is very interested in hearing from businesses in this area. The purpose of this survey is to gather input from the neighborhood business community on how the City could improve this neighborhood as a place where businesses can succeed. It should take about 10 minutes to complete. Though we ask for contact information as part of the survey, the data will be aggregated and we won't share individual responses.

If you have questions about this survey, please call City of Madison Office of Business Resources Staff - Peggy Yessa at 267-8721 or Dan Kennelly at 267-1968. Thank you!
