Course Overview:
The IHS Pharmacy Last Wednesdays Webinar Series has been initiated to address the needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in I/T/U settings. Specifically, the series address five (5) areas: 1. Recent Evidence-Based Therapeutic Guidelines; 2. New Practices/Clinical Collaboration Models within IHS; 3. The Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice of IHS Pharmacy; 4. Ongoing Professional/Legal Changes in the Pharmacy Profession; and 5. Issues Confronting Institutional or Ambulatory Care Practice.
Learning Objectives:
As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:
1. Recommend treatment strategies for patients with CKD-MBD based on the 2009 KDIGO Guidelines and current evidence
2. Apply knowledge gained to the monitoring and treatment of patients with CKD-MBD.
