The purpose of this survey is to discover how changes in the new PDF standards will contribute to optimizing the production process within the industry. The survey is an initiative of the Ghent Workgroup (GWG).
The results of the survey will be used as input to implement the new standards based on PDF/X-4.
For the new standard, choices must be between:
• device independent color management (RGB information in files)
• acceptance of transparency
• use of layers for versioning
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes of your time and is constructed as follows:

• PDF creation, checking and processing
• PDF delivery
