HandsOn needs leaders like you to serve as Project Captains for our 7th Annual HandsOn Day on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Projects run from 9am-1pm, but project captains (PCs) arrive a little earlier and leave a little later.

Be a part of a group of 50+ other PCs leading projects across the region on our city-wide day of service.

What do Project Captains do?
• Assist the nonprofit agency with managing volunteers and project details on our big day of service
• Welcome and check volunteers in, collect waivers, and return check in sheets to HandsOn
• Hand out t-shirts, water/snacks, and supplies
• Ensure volunteers have a good experience and the work of the nonprofit gets done


What are the requirements to be a Project Captain?
• Willingness to serve, lead, and have fun!
• Be comfortable speaking in front of and leading groups
• Attend a required two hour training session in early October
• Connect with your assigned community organization site before HandsOn Day
• Engage volunteers with energy and enthusiasm
