The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Social Justice Commissioner and the National Congress of Australia's First People are developing a process to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (the Declaration) in Australia. As part of this process we will be running a number of dialogue meetings with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, governments and other stakeholders to discuss the best way to do this. The purpose of this survey is to give us some information about what Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples think of the themes in the Declaration, which will help us design and run the dialogue meetings.

All responses to this survey are anonymous.

We welcome input from all participants, however you will notice that a few questions are directed specifically at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to comment on their experiences. In these questions there will be an option for N/A (Not Applicable) if you do not identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

We appreciate your help with this project and thank you for your participation.
