Endorse The MFIP Workforce Bill

The Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) provides basic economic assistance for children and their parents working toward full-time paid employment.

Prosperity for All is advancing legislation to raise MFIP cash assistance by $100/month using TANF funds. This would be the first increase since 1986.

MFIP is the largest workforce development program in the state, providing employment support for 28,000 parents and assistance for 70,000 children. An additional $100/month would help families get stable, get skills, get to work and get ahead.
