The Secretary of LWN's main functions are to act as Secretary to the Management Committee and deal with general administrative matters, including membership and managing our part-time administrator. The Management Committee meets in London about once every two months; expenses are paid for members who need to travel to attend. The Committee is responsible for running the Network on a day-to-day basis, arranging training events, speaking up for women and their interests, and supporting women to achieve their aspirations. The Secretary often represents LWN at meetings, liaises with other officers between meetings, and works as part of a team of women to develop LWN's activities, membership, funding and influence in the Party.
