ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Residential programs for rising sixth-graders through high school students are offered at college or university campuses on the East and West Coasts, and their day programs for rising third- through rising seventh-graders are offered at independent schools in Los Angeles, La Jolla, San Mateo, New York City, and the Baltimore/DC metropolitan area.

The winner will be drawn and announced at the 7th Annual NPEA Conference. CTY will contact the winning member to discuss program eligibility details; costs for the student to participate in CTY's Talent Search, if needed, will also be covered. Students may apply for additional financial aid for the summer program based on demonstrated financial need. CTY has a long history of identifying and serving low-income and underrepresented minority students with strong academic promise.

Alumni of CTY's summer program report academic, social, and personal benefits of participating that include finding a social support network, increasing maturity and independence, and setting higher academic goals. CTY is delighted to offer this scholarship to a fellow NPEA member organization.
