Objectives:
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
1. Quote the prevention, diagnosis and management of inherited metabolic disease both during child- and adulthood.
2. Describe recent advances in the discovery, treatment and monitoring for inherited metabolic diseases, specifically affecting the endosomal pathway.
3. Recognize different types of movement disorders and formulate a diagnostic approach to underlying neurometabolic diseases.
4. Exchange information between metabolic centres in Canada on patient care advances including dietary management.
