In the past, Boise Metro Rotary has pursued community service projects that individual members have proposed and brought to the attention of the Board. We’ve never weighed in with the entire membership, nor taken a vote on which projects we wanted to pursue as a club.

For years, we had a signature project in Burgers for Bikes, Bikes for Kids, which has since dissolved. This was a program done in conjunction with the Army National Guard, the Boise Police Department, and a few other organizations. Our club was in charge of bicycle assembly, and participated in the annual spring bike giveaway.

As a board, we would like to develop an additional community service project. It might be reading to children, a construction program, a holiday event for a disadvantaged group of kids, a tutoring session once a month, etc. We want your opinions and ideas, and want you to have a say in what our club pursues.

Please take a few minutes and respond to the following questions. Thanks!
