Dear Sustain member/valued expert,
We really want your views. Sustain was formed to advocate food and agriculture policies and practices that enhance the health and welfare of people and animals, improve the working and living environment, enrich society and culture and promote equity.
We believe there is more we should do in terms of farming and production systems and related policy. We believe that all food should be produced in a way that is fair and sustainable. Fair for farmers, workers, animals and which is sustainable for the land, biodiversity and natural resources for now and generations to come. We would like your opinion on what our focus should be.
We have done some initial scoping work with experts, looking at the evidence of what really needs doing and what we could realistically achieve as an alliance. We have come up with four options which we would like you to rate and comment on. These are not final campaign ideas but areas we would like to further develop, and find funding to run.
