Together as a community we need to clearly define the meaning of the guiding theme of "A Community of Teaching, Scholarship and Collaboration." Defining this theme is the next step in the strategic plan process and it is critical that you share your thoughts. The definitions will guide us all as we discuss the themes and priorities of the strategic plan.

1a. What do you think are the most important characteristics of a community of teaching, scholarship and collaboration?
1b. From your experience, give one or two specific examples of a community of teaching, scholarship and collaboration.
Let's shift to starting to think about aspirations. By describing what the Monmouth of the future looks like, we can tease out what we need to do to advance the university.

2a. Five years from now, assuming that Monmouth University has achieved excellence in building a community of teachers and scholars, what does Monmouth look like? In other words, what are the results of building a community of teachers and scholars?
2b. Building on the same ideas from Q.2a., what does a more collaborative Monmouth of the future look like? How does a more collaborative Monmouth of the future look different than what we have today?
