The City of Dickinson has become one of the country’s fastest-growing areas. Recent developments west of the Dickinson have included the Dakota Prairie Refinery, Bakken Oil Express, Dickinson I-94 Exit 56 interchange, Dickinson Bypass route and the City’s infrastructure improvement commitments. These positive developments come with associated challenges including development pressure and traffic congestion.
The City is being proactive and developing a plan for the West Dickinson Area that recognizes this investment, preserves the area’s quality of life, encourages economic vitality and provides a roadmap for its future. The City has partnered with KLJ to prepare the West Dickinson Area Plan. The study area, outlined in red, includes approximately 6,100 acres west of the City of Dickinson, generally bounded 35th Street (north), Lake Patterson (south), 30th Avenue (east) and approximately ½ mile west of the proposed Dickinson Bypass route alignment.
This Survey #2 follows up on Survey #1. Your answers to this survey are important to developing a plan for the West Dickinson Area. The results of this survey will be posted on the project website in mid-November 2014.
Thank you.
