Barrier-Free Manitoba is a non-partisan, non-profit, cross-disability initiative formed in 2008 to advocate for the systemic change required for the effective promotion and protection of the basic human rights of the estimated 200,000 Manitobans who have a disability.

We invite and encourage you to complete the following to endorse the call for strong and effective accessibility-rights legislation in Manitoba based on nine principles (listed on the next page) - legislation that:

• Requires the removal of existing barriers which limit the participation of Manitobans with disabilities in basic life activities that others take for granted.
• Prevents the creation of new barriers.
