Abuse & Neglect – Physical abuse, sexual assault, neglect of health care, financial exploitation, and the improper use of seclusion, restraints or psychotropic medications.

Self-Determination – Decision-making rights, civil rights, and voluntary treatment and services.

Community-Based Services & Health Care – Access to: services needed to live as independently as possible, health care, assistive technology, and appropriate housing choices.

Accessibility & Discrimination – Access to: public places and services, housing, transportation, and voting equipment.

Education of Students with Disabilities –Use of aversive practices or inappropriate discipline, exclusion of students from day care, pre-school or K-12 classes for conduct related to their disabilities, and special education and services are needed to make school progress.

Employment – Getting help from Rehabilitation Services and assisting Social Security Beneficiaries with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment.
