Hello!!

The Mayor's Office, the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, and the current year NC Budget Advocates are glad that you are choosing to participate in this year's budget process by attending the Mayor's Community Budget Day. Whether you are a designated Budget Representative or a stakeholder interested in simply participating, you are very much welcomed. In fact, we hope that you will consider running as your region's NC Budget Advocate for the 2012 - 2013 cycle. It's a process that will help you become much more informed about one of the City's most important processes -- the budget process.

To rsvp for the Mayor's Community Budget Day on Saturday, November 17, 2012, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon at City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street, fill out the following questions. (If you'd like parking, please include your car info. Parking will be available in the garage under City Hall East with the entrance being on Los Angeles St., between Temple and 1st.)

(Additional note: If you are elected by your peers to be an NC Budget Advocate, please plan on staying until 2:00 pm for an additional session where you will elect your officers and begin planning.)

If you have any questions, you can contact Joe at joseph.hari@lacity.org or call 213-978-1551.

See you on November 17th, 2012!
