YMCA Needs Assessment in Bulloch County
Community leaders from Statesboro and Bulloch County are interested in learning about your opinions regarding the establishment of a YMCA branch in Statesboro.
The YMCA is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. It is an organization that puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
It is the policy of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. that no one who resides within its service area will be denied access to membership or program services due to their inability to pay.
The programing of each YMCA varies based on the current needs of the community. The local branch will go to great efforts to avoid or limit duplication of existing services.
To avoid duplicating existing programs and services, the steering committee is seeking public input as to the needs of our community.
Examples of YMCA programs might include programs for teens and high school aged youth, after school tutoring for children, pre-k, group aerobics for adults, indoor basketball and many others.
