...with Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, broadcast during the Kind of Blue period.

June, 1973 - Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan

...quote by Miles Davis, "An amplified trumpet doesn’t sound good when you play real fast. So I learned to play two-bar phrases, and that’s where I was going with my new music. It was exciting because I was learning as I was doing it.”

July, 1985 - Umbria Jazz Festival, Perugia, Italy

...with Davis, John Scofield, Bob Berg, Robert Irving III, Darryl Jones, Vince Wilburn Jr., and Steve Thornton.

July, 1991 - Paris, France

...Miles died three months after this gig.
