Rhode Island Manufacturing Survey

A public/private partnership team representing Rhode Island business development organizations is compiling a comprehensive list of RI’s manufacturers and assessing their needs in order to determine what resources can be applied to support and accelerate the manufacturing renaissance in Rhode Island. The team, which includes representatives of the Chafee Center for International Business at Bryant University, the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA), the Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Service (RIMES), and the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC), is in the process of identifying all Rhode Island manufacturing companies, and has created a survey to help assess their needs and their potential for growth.

The public information will be used to create an interactive data base to help companies identify potential new business and supply chain partnerships, and will also enable improved communications to make companies aware of available business support services.

Please note:
• Data-based survey responses from each company will remain confidential and will be used in the aggregate only.
• Opinion-based survey responses will remain confidential and will be used only to develop policies and procedures to improve the business climate in Rhode Island.

We are asking all Rhode Island manufacturing companies to respond to this survey. Your responses will help us determine what types of service and level of assistance are most needed. A member of our team will follow-up with each company as needed. However, if you have an urgent need for support of any kind, please contact us immediately. You may call or email Linda Woulfe, at 401-232-6525 or lwoulfe@bryant.edu.
