1. Survey Overview

This survey seeks to collect the opinions of innovation practitioners such as yourself regarding the key success factors for those in a leadership role in innovation. What helps a senior leader, charged with driving and coordinating innovation efforts in an organization, succeed? Sometimes, but not always, these individuals hold the formal title of Chief Innovation Officer.

We seek your input on the relative importance of several groups of factors: Technical Business Skills, Personal Attributes, Leadership Skills, and Job Experiences. You will find that all of the choices listed are important, but we'd like to know how you would rank them from most critical to least critical for success.

If you would like to receive a summary of the feedback, please leave us your contact details at the end of the survey. We will send you the summary after the results are in! Your individual data will not be released and no attribution to any single individual or company will be made.

Thank you for contributing your perspective to the innovation community! Questions? Contact Mike Fitzgerald at mfitzgerald@celent.com.
