On Tuesday 11th June revised GCSE subject criteria were issued by the Department of Education for consultation, which closes on August 20th. Alongside this, Ofqual also launched a consultation focusing on the structure and assessment of the reformed GCSE. Specifications based upon the finalised revised structure and subject criteria will be due for first teaching in September 2015.
We at the Historical Association will respond to these consultations on your behalf. We used your feedback and responses to our surveys and polls to respond powerfully to the consultation on the draft National Curriculum and we need your help again to help us be the voice for the history teaching community.
