Please join the Massachusetts Cultural Council and MassDevelopment to celebrate the latest round of Cultural Facilities Fund grants to support the Commonwealth’s nonprofit cultural sector. Events will take place at cultural venues in Gloucester, Worcester, Plymouth, and Falmouth in early June.

We will be joined by Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, along with state legislators, local officials, and leaders of arts, humanities, and science organizations from across the state.

With this new, $13.7 million round of grants, CFF will invest nearly $84 million in the Massachusetts creative economy for projects in more than 120 cities and towns since 2007. These investments helped launch many transformative projects, leveraging private sector dollars that have kept this sector growing and thriving. CFF projects have created more than 19,000 construction jobs, with organizations poised to add 1,842 new permanent jobs after completing their projects. CFF has also helped dozens of nonprofit organizations become better stewards of our cultural heritage.
