As you may know Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, in partnership with the Eastern Destination Management Organization, is undertaking a tourism destination development process in the Eastern Region.
During public sessions that were held May 22-24 when we introduced the project we received feedback from those in attendance that there was a desire for industry/operators to have input into the tourism data collection process. The purpose of this questionnaire is to allow businesses, involved with the tourism industry and visitor services, to provide supplemental information for consideration into the Eastern Region Tourism Destination Visitor Assessment Appraisal (TDVAA). It is one of many sources of information that will be considered in the final analysis.
We appreciate that this is high season and your time is at a premium, however we are hopeful you will take a few minutes to consider the questions and provide your input. Please note all responses must be collected by the 30th of September 2013 in order to be factored into the overall analysis. Feel free to pass this link along to your colleagues.
