Conservation Halton Award Nomination The Conservation Halton Awards of Excellence are presented annually to citizens and groups who have made significant contributions to protecting the natural environment of the Conservation Halton watershed. The awards program was initiated by Conservation Halton in 1982. Who is Eligible?The Conservation Awards of Excellence are presented annually to people, agencies and organizations, who:•Contribute to the protection and enhancement of the natural environment in the Halton watershed.•Encourage a better understanding and appreciation of conservation.•Undertake conservation actions in communities located in the Halton watershed. When is the deadline for nominations?The deadline for nominations for the 2014 Conservation Awards of Excellence is Friday, May 16, 2014 for conservation actions in the previous year.
