The Philadelphia Design Center is in its final planning stages!

This spring, we’ll be starting our build out of the facilities. The Center will serve the region's design community for theatre, fashion, textiles, industrial and graphic design, architecture, and other creators and makers.

The following survey represents the work of many focus groups and conversations with the design community. If you have been involved with our process, the attached contains revised ideas, prices, and equipment amenities. This is our final step before physical work begins on the space. We want to thank those of you who have been involved in the process so far for your time, energy, and ideas. For those of you just starting this process with us, welcome, and we look forward to remaining in conversation with you.

The Philadelphia Design Center will be the first of its kind in the country, serving not only as a coworking facility, but also as a laboratory and workplace that brings ideas to life. While many more amenities are listed within the survey itself, some of the highlights include: Mac Pros and iMacs loaded with Vectorworks Designer edition (including spotlight), a full sewing/textile shop, plotters and 3D printers, as well as a media (light, sound, and video) lab, and a wood shop.

Thanks again for your support now and in the future!
