Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2015 International Trails Symposium!

There are volunteer shifts available every day beginning on Friday, May 15 through Thursday, May 21.

Volunteer check-in and training will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may drop by at your convenience to pick up your Trail Boss t-shirt, name tag, and instructions/training on your area of volunteering.

NOTE: Please recognize your own limitations and volunteer for shifts that match what you are capable of handling. See descriptions below regarding qualifications of different areas:

Exhibit Hall Set-Up/Breakdown - requires lifting and moving boxes
Registration/Merchandise - requires a detail oriented person & the handling of money
Auctions - requires a detail oriented person & the handling of money
Room Hosting - requires volunteer to distribute and collect multiple forms (and keeping them organized)
A/V Helper - requires knowledge of computer systems, connections to projectors/speakers, and PowerPoint
Symposium Breakdown & Packing - requires lifting and moving boxes
Luncheon Helper & Gopher, Opening Reception, and the Awards Banquet - requires people to collect tickets (and keep track of them) and monitor who is entering and exiting the room
Trails Rock Party - requires off-site volunteering at the OMSI, some lifting may be required of auction items for Live Auction

* 10. Are you interested in being a "volunteer lead?" This position requires someone who has experience leading and coordinating volunteers. Volunteer leads will be assigned half-day shifts and help the Volunteer Coordinator coordinate other volunteers. If you select "yes," in the comment box below, please indicate days and times you would be available during the Symposium and your volunteer coordinating experience.
