Save the Date – National MCH Policy Teleconference will feature an announcement from Dr. Michael Lu, Associate Administrator of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau regarding future plans for the Collaborative Innovation & Improvement Network. The call will also include an introductory overview from AMCHP’s new CEO Lori Freeman and a call to action to use the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday to educate policymakers on how the Title V MCH Block Grant improves the health of all mothers and families. It will also include updates on AMCHP’s advocacy for the Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant; the recent home visiting, PREP and Family to Family Health Information Center program extensions; and MCH-related updates on implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
