Hancock Non-Motorized Transportation Survey 2014

Question Title

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey about walking, biking and other forms of non-motorized transportation in Hancock, Michigan. Your comments will be used by the Hancock Bike and Pedestrian Committee, Planning Commission and City Council to develop a Non-Motorized Transportation Network Plan and to improve conditions for walkers, cyclists, bus riders, and others who travel to, from and within Hancock.

Even if you completed the Houghton-Hancock Bike and Pedestrian Survey of 2012, please answer this short questionnaire as well. The 2012 survey focused on the number of bike trips per year on various routes; whereas this survey seeks more detail on the conditions of specific streets, paths, sidewalks and intersections within the City of Hancock. Your comments and suggestions on how to make them safer and more convenient will help us plan wisely for future improvements in accordance with Hancock's new Complete Streets policy.

* 3. In a typical week, how many total trips will you make within, to, and from Hancock, on foot, by bike, by bus, by mobility scooter, or other non-automotive means, NOT INCLUDING PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLE TRIPS.

Count a round trip as two trips. For example, if you walk from your house to the Hancock Post Office, stop at the bank, and return home, that should count as two trips. If you bike from Hancock to Michigan Tech but get a ride home in a car, that is one trip.
