2014 Garden City Conservation Annual Gathering |
Welcome to the RSVP survey for the Garden City Conservation Society's 2014 Annual Gathering!
The 2014 annual gathering of the members of the Garden City Conservation Society is on Wednesday, June 18, at The Barn, Terra Nova Rural Park, 2631 Westminster Highway. It includes a brief annual general meeting at 7:05 p.m., and participants are encouraged to arrive well before then.
Right after that, there is a series of interactive presentations. Then there's a short time for announcements, followed by a few minutes for chatting and cleanup.
If you support the purposes of the society, you may take out or renew your membership either when signing in at the event or in advance. You can do so online on the "About us" page at www.gardencitylands.ca. The membership fee continues to be only $10 per year..
Details: Sign-in and light dinner (good healthy appetizing snack food to complement what you eat before or after) are from before 6 p.m. on. It is a gathering of members, so membership is required. Beyond that requirement, the dinner is free. A small donation to help pay for the food is entirely optional.
Conservation biology teacher Michael Wolfe will lead an optional eco-tour to the nearby Terra Nova Slough at 6:10 p.m.
The aim is for the gathering to conclude by 8:30 p.m.
This form of registration is important for the event planning. Individual information will not be public.
