I use the DAAP Library for the following reason/s: Books Periodicals/Journals Nice spaces to read & work Group meetings/class Mac lab Research/librarian assistance comments: Question Title * 2. Do you like to use print or e-resources...or both? I use books in print only. I do not like reading e-books for research or for pleasure. I enjoy e-books, but don't like to use them for academic research. I like to look at magazines in print, but for research, I prefer accessing articles online. I don't care if a book or article is in print or digital. I'm happy getting what I need in ANY format! I prefer books and articles in digital format. I've learned so much by working one-on-one with her/them. ...has/have guest lectured for my class and I learned a lot. ...seem nice & knowledgeable, but I'm self-sufficient and do not need assistance. ...who are they? I don't use the DAAP Library, but I would use it ALL THE TIME if it had: State-of-the-art 'Material ConneXion' material library; User-friendly 3D lab w/large format digitization capability; ipads, cameras, and other slick equipment to use/check out; More comfortable, designer lounge furniture; More open & flexible meeting spaces (for class, crits, meetings, study sessions); Study carrels and/or lockers; More books and/or more digital resources, tutorials, how-to guides; More classes/workshops and opportunities to learn about how to conduct research, etc.; Starbucks comments: Done
