Your organization or team can stand together to be a part of Iowa Denim Day 2014, a statewide movement to support survivors of and raise awareness about sexual violence in our community. Your employees/team members will be asked to donate $5 in exchange for wearing jeans on April 23, 2014. Here's what you will be asked to do, as well as what you can expect from IowaCASA:
Participanting groups will:
- Identify a point of contact for your Iowa Denim Day efforts.
- Ensure that team members are informed about Iowa Denim Day by distributing information and marketing materials provided in the Denim Day Participation Kit.
- Ensure that donations are submitted to IowaCASA by April 30, 2014. Several payment options are available, including online giving through PayPal.
IowaCASA will:
- Provide each team with an Iowa Denim Day Participation Kit (mailed April 1, 2014) that includes all information as well as marketing materials that you need to promote the event to your group. The kit includes everything from donation receipts and event flyers to fact sheets and stickers for each participating member.
- Highlight your organization or group on the Iowa Denim Day website, IowaCASA website, and social media.
Application process:
Once you complete this online survey, you will be contacted by IowaCASA to confirm your participation. You will then recieve the Denim Day Participation Kit (mailed April 1, 2014).
