Introduction
Welcome to the Council for the Isles of Scilly Housing Needs Survey 2012.
The survey is designed to inform the Council by providing information on the housing needs of residents living on the Isles of Scilly. This includes gaining an insight into issues such as housing affordability, future requirements (e.g. property types and size) as well as identifying to what degree residents would support more housing on the Islands.
By completing this survey you will make a valuable contribution to this information gathering process and your responses will be used to inform future housing strategies and policies.
Some important points for you to be aware of are:
• The survey includes around 40 questions and should take up to 25 minutes to complete.
• Please only complete one survey per household.
• The deadline for completing the survey is 5pm on 19th October 2012.
The survey is available for completion online, but if preferred a hard copy version is also available. If you would prefer to complete a hard copy version of the survey please contact the Isles of Scilly Council Housing Department on 01720 424 000.
