Primary Research Group, Inc., a publisher or surveys, monographs and research reports, is planning to publish a survey of international research libraries. We invite you to participate in our survey by filling out the survey form in exchange for a free pdf copy of the report when it is published. Your institution will be listed as a contributor but all the information that you provide is absolutely confidential; all data is amalgamated in a statistical package; no data is attributed to individual institutions. The report will enable your library to compare its technology, acquisition and management practices with those of similar libraries in the USA, Canada, the UK, continental Europe, Australia and other countries.
The best individual (s) to fill out the form is the person (s) that have the most knowledge about your library's overall operations, including capital investment, personnel and acquisitions questions.
THIS SURVEY HAS 44 QUESTIONS; IT USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES TO FINISH THE SURVEY. YOU CAN FINISH IT ALL AT ONCE OR YOU CAN LEAVE OFF AND RETURN TO IT LATER, PICKING UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF. We seek library-wide statistics for the entire college or university library or for the entire range of corporate, legal or other libraries in your organization. This study is open to Carnegie Class 1 and 2 academic research libraries or their equivalents, major corporate and law firm libraries with at least three locations, and major scientific and technical libraries connected to non-profits and government agencies worldwide. This is an international survey, open to all nations.
