INTRODUCTION

 
You recently participated in a remote video appearance. That appearance is part of the Videoconferencing Suite (VC Suite) pilot, which is designed to test the remote interpreter technology and the VC Suite model. The objective is to increase access to justice for non-English speaking participants by allowing qualified interpreters to make video appearances in court, when they otherwise might have had to appear by phone, at a later date, or not at all (e.g., resulting in the use of a lesser-qualified interpreter).
 
Court Services Branch is interested to hear your thoughts about your remote video appearance. Your feedback is important as it will help the project team ensure that the VC Suite and the new remote interpreter technology is as effective as possible.
