WELCOME!

In Louisiana early care and education networks are working to ensure all children enter kindergarten ready. Teachers need support and curricular resources which are aligned to age and developmentally appropriate standards. To support teachers and early care networks, the Louisiana Department of Education will lead a review of early childhood resources for children age birth to five. The submission deadline is April 30, 2016. The 2016-2017 rubrics will be used.

Materials designed for the following content areas and age levels will be reviewed: (Refer to User’s Guide for full definitions and links to standards.)

- Integrated (must cover each domain of the Louisiana Birth to Five Early Learning and Development Standards) for Infant/Toddler Ages 0-3
- Integrated (must cover each domain of the Louisiana Birth to Five Early Learning and Development Standards) for Preschool Ages 3-4
- Content specific: Language/Literacy for Preschool Ages 3-4

- Content specific: Math for Preschool Ages 3-4
