Introduction - Survey of Health Professionals
The Scottish Government published in 2010 its Third Diabetes Action Plan entitled 'Quality Care for Diabetes in Scotland'. Now three years on the planning period is coming to an end. Diabetes UK Scotland has therefore commissioned Social Value Lab to undertake an audit of the list of actions in the current plan.
We are keen to learn from health professionals what their perceptions are of improvements in the care and support of people with diabetes as a result of the action plan. We would also like to find out about the challenges involved and the scope for further action.
We are therefore inviting members of Diabetes UK Scotland who are health professionals, and whose jobs involve caring for or supporting people with diabetes, to take part in this survey. The closing date for this survey has been extended to the end of February 2014.
We have designed a separate questionnaire for people with diabetes or their carers who are members of Diabetes UK Scotland. If you know of anyone affected by diabetes who would like to take part please ask them to go to the following web link to access the survey for people with diabetes or their carers:
