I have a laptop or personal computer I have a smartphone that I can use as a reader I have an e-reader (Kindle, nook, etc.) I have an electronic tablet (ipad, etc.) I don't have any electronic devices Please comment on the type of device you have and what you like/dislike about it/them when it comes to reading. Question Title * 3. How would you feel about having all of your texts (for teaching or studying) accessible on an electronic device to be used in and out of class? [Click as many answers that apply] I would love it. It would simplify my life to have everything I need in one device. It would enhance the possibilities in the classroom and outside of class. It would save time for me. I'm skeptical, but I would be willing to try it. Maybe in a few years, but not now. (specifiy the number of years in the comment box) It would be difficult to get everyone on the same page, especially if each student has a different device. Students would get distracted with social media/online sites and not pay attention. Time would be wasted due to technological problems (updates, crashes, etc.) Doing exercises (grammar, reading comprehension, etc.) would take more time. It would be too expensive. It would give me a headache and/or be hard on my eyes. I am concerned about digital dumping, the mining of rare earth minerals and other environmental factors associated with the proliferation of electronic devices. I would hate it.
