Introduction

Unaccompanied Children Legal Call to Action

With the current humanitarian crisis vivid in our minds, AILA is seeking members who may be willing to provide pro bono legal services to the thousands of unaccompanied children on our southern border who desperately need legal representation.

The legal process for these children and families has become more clear in the past few days. We are asking all interested AILA members to complete this on-line survey so that AILA is in the best position to play a major role in providing pro bono lawyers when and where needed. Completing this survey does not obligate you to participate. We are gathering information now, while at the same time engaging the government and non-profit legal service providers to ascertain the specific need for lawyers.

As plans are developed, we will reach out to all who complete this form to invite them to provide pro bono legal services in their community or possibly at a detention facility location.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.

The entire survey consists of approximately 15 questions and will take only a few minutes to complete.

Thank you!
