What is Rubin Teens?


Rubin Teens is an after-school program for high school students with a passion for art or interest in a care-er in the arts. Rubin Teens get a behind-the-scenes look at how a museum operates and have the opport-unity to:

• Explore arts and cultures from across Asia
• Express themselves in art-making workshops
• Discover other art and cultural institutions in NYC
• Gain career guidance from Museum staff, artists, and arts professionals

When does Rubin Teens take place?

Rubin Teens meets every Monday from 4-6pm from October 6th, 2014 through early June 2015. Students must commit to one year and attend all meetings.

Who can join?

NYC area high school students.

Where will we meet?

Rubin Teens will meet at the Rubin Museum of Art, located at 150 West 17th Street, between 6th and 7th avenue.

How do I join?

Interested teens fill out this online application and will be contacted by the Rubin Museum for an interview. If selected for the program, you will be notified in the coming weeks after your interview.
