Introduction

The ONA Social Media Task Force is exploring the extent to which employers protect nurses and other healthcare workers from unwanted intrusions of patients, family, or visitors via social media, particularly picture-taking and filming. This survey also includes questions concerning any adverse or uncomfortable experiences you may have had concerning the appropriate use of social media.

The Social Media Task Force was developed as a result of a reference proposal passed by the House of Delegates at the 2013 ONA Convention.
