Video Game Composer and Sound Designer Contracts Survey |
Please answer these quick questions about the most recent game you worked on in a professional capacity. If you worked on more than one game as a freelancer in the past year you may fill out the survey more than once, but will need to do so from a different computer or browser. Note: If you are an employee (as opposed to a freelancer), please do NOT fill out this survey more than once.
For the purposes of this survey an “indy” game is a game not funded by a major publisher or portal. Independent games can be independently funded by the developers, by private investors, kickstarters, by grants, or by association with a non-profit institution.
A "professionally developed mobile/tablet casual" game is a game developed with funding, marketing or distribution from a publisher, but is generally small in scope.
A "Major console" is any member of the Playstation, Xbox or Wii family.
A "PC" game is any Windows, Mac or Linux game.
