Goodwill AmeriCorps has operated the Great Strides Rural Education Corps since August 2011. Goodwill is now reapplying for another 3 years of funding and has the opportunity to modify and expand the scope of the grant. Goodwill AmeriCorps is actively recruiting new partner agencies/schools in rural ME, NH, and VT. Please respond to this survey if you are interested in learning more about this program and how your agency/school can leverage volunteers to serve at-risk students through mentoring, academic support, service learning, and community outreach activities! In ME and NH Goodwill also has AmeriCorps programs to serve non-rural students. See below for the programs definition of rural.
