Summary of Service

The GP Out of Hours service provides access to a GP (when necessary) from 6.00pm to 8.00am Monday to Friday. Weekend cover begins 6.00pm on a Friday evening right through to 8.00am the following Monday.

The service offers appointments from 6.00pm to 10.30pm during the week and 9.00am to 11.00pm during the weekend and bank holidays. Outside of these times, a GP would visit the patient's home address (when necessary) or provide advice or treatment over the phone. Telephone advice and treatment is continuous throughout the service opening times.
