INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Summer 2015 Saltz Internship Program Application.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

In order to be considered, your application must include a thoughtful essay between 200 and 400 words in length (about 1-2 pages) and have a recommendation letter submitted. The recommendation letter and application must be submitted by 5pm Sunday March 29th.

Essay:

We highly recommend reading the question, composing your essay in another program, then pasting it into the space provided at the end of the application.
Please note that your application is not complete until this entire form is completed and you reach the confirmation/thank you page; you must complete ALL fields required below or your application will not be accepted.

Please write a 200-400 word essay about yourself that addresses the following questions:
- Why are you a good candidate for the Saltz Internship Program?
- Why are you interested in the sciences?
- How will this experience at the Museum help you further your academic and career goals?

Recommendation:

One letter of recommendation must be submitted for your application to be complete. Your letter of recommendation should come from a teacher, or another adult who knows you, such as someone from your youth program, after-school program, or workplace. Your letter of recommendation should NOT come from a parent or family member. Please provide your recommender with this web link where they can submit their recommendation letter. Please have your name included in the file name of the recommendation letter.
