We are looking to establish a development - user experience relationship with individuals or small teams focused on creating mobile games in the Raleigh/Durham area. We want to provide them UE4 as a tool to create their game and then observe/interact with them during their development process to understand how we can better serve them with our software. Our desire is close communication to the developer throughout their development process, including having the developer come on-site to Epic for periodic team development sessions and continued communication with them during their normal “everyday” work.

The team will have complete ownership of their project and no obligation to Epic in any way.

This is NOT an interview for potential employment at Epic. A successful outcome is that the team achieves their goals of independently publishing their game and that Epic learns how to improve our software to best support independent mobile game development.

Ideal candidates will be:

- individuals or a small team of independent developers committed to making a game for the mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- possessing the skillset/development framework to complete their project within a reasonable time frame (<1 year)
- capable of supporting a UX relationship to Epic during their development process (we will cover all expenses for onsite visits and communication)
- new to Unreal Engine technology but experienced with other game engines (internal tech, Gamemaker, Unity...)
