Strong Families AZ with United Way is developing a Community of Practice (CoP) for Home Visitors starting in the Fall of 2014. This Community of Practice is designed to increase home visitors' knowledge and skill through specialized education/workshops, and development of a strong, supportive home visitation learning community. The Community of Practice Coordinator will seek appropriate credit opportunities for coursework (college credit, CEU's, etc).

During the Community of Practice participants will be provided with 4 professional development sessions facilitated by local experts and National consultants. These professional development sessions will be followed up by cohort meetings where shared learning and application practice will be discussed.

Participation in a Community of Practice requires members to attend 75% of CoP activities.

This Community of Practice will be provided at no cost.
