The team here at Splice Machine is excited to have the opportunity to work with more of you as we extend the availability of our product with a limited release for an additional 50 evaluators.
?Splice Machine is currently being tested among five charter customers as a replacement for their Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases. Current customers are using Splice Machine as the platform for real-time applications for customers in the consumer marketing, eCommerce, SaaS, and energy trading industries.
??Use cases include:
* An existing Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL or PostgreSQL database that is not scaling or is too expensive
* A Hadoop deployment that needs real-time SQL to unlock the data for data scientists
* Are considering NoSQL solutions for scale out but would benefit from leveraging their existing SQL people, tools and applications
?Applicants must have the ability to use SQL, as Splice Machine uses standard ANSI SQL.
